Why are you an ACT Member?
I’m an ACT member because I want to see more healthy opportunities for youth in Bennington. We need to invest more in our young people!
What do you love most about living and/or working in Bennington?
I live in Pownal and love working in Bennington because people here really care about our community and are very collaborative. The town motto is “Serving People Through Teamwork” and I’ve found this to be true. It’s exciting to be a part of the progress that’s happening in Bennington.
Top three songs on your current playlist:
In the fall I love to dig into my old record collection and currently David Bowie, T Rex, and Roxy Music are getting a lot of play on the turntable.
What are you reading right now?
I’m reading “Educated” by Tara Westover, a compelling memoir about a young woman growing up in a survivalist home where she never went to school and then entering the larger world and going to college.
What are you doing to support your health and wellness lately?
I try to walk in the woods as much as possible. We’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful place with nature to explore all around us.
