Do you want to support your peers and help make your school and community a healthier place? Students at Mt. Anthony Middle School are invited to join the Youth Leadership Group (YLG), a youth coalition that focuses on peer-to-peer substance use prevention and mental health initiatives. The YLG is a safe space to explore topics related to teen mental health and substance use, and to build skills to take action on these issues. Want to get involved? Email us!

Serving as an ACT Youth Representative is a great opportunity to build leadership skills and make your voice heard in the community! As members of our coalition, Youth Reps give advice and support for our youth-targeted projects and represent the youth voice in our work. Interested? Get in touch!

Each spring, ACT hosts the Youth Photovoice Contest, which challenges local youth to use photography to promote healthy choices, reimagine public spaces, and celebrate community. Truth Initiative’s This is Qutting program is a free and anonymous text messaging program designed to help young people quit vaping. Teens and young adults can join for free by texting DITCHVAPE to 88709

CounterBalance educates Vermonters about the impact of tobacco marketing on young people in our state.

Outright Vermont is a queer youth advocacy, education, and youth space that provides peer support groups, camps, and events, education for schools and nonprofits, and support for adult caregivers and family members of trans and gender non-conforming youth.

Gender Spectrum has resources for youth to learn more and connect with other young people who are navigating the evolving gender landscape.

Queer Connect is dedicated to increasing our visibility in the community and to building resources for LGBTQ+ people and their families living in and around Bennington, Vermont.

GLOW (Gay, Lesbian, Or Whatever) @ Mt. Anthony Union Middle School is committed to being an inclusive group for people of all genders and orientations. GLOW welcomes students who are questioning, who are allies, and anyone else regardless of where they are in their journey to finding themselves.
