The Alliance for Community Transformations (ACT) has recognized Paran Recreations’ director Camille Kauffman as 2024 Member of the Year for “outstanding commitment to our mission of supporting healthy youth.”
“As the director of Lake Paran, Camille does so much to support the health and wellness of our community’s youth by connecting families to nature, promoting active lifestyles and recreational opportunities, and encouraging care for our environment,” says ACT director Dare Chammings.
In addition to her role at Lake Paran, Camille is a lead member of the Bennington Appalachian Trail Community and volunteers her time with organizations such as Four Winds Nature Program and coaching Girls on the Run at the Village School of North Bennington. She has been recognized as a 2023 Emerging Leader of Southern Vermont and 2023 Spirit of the ADA Award Winner.
