At ACT, our mission is simple: supporting healthy youth. When young people feel valued and connected to their schools and communities, they are more likely to make healthy choices and thrive. That’s why we remain committed to creating safe, equitable spaces where all youth in Bennington can grow and succeed.
We know that belonging is a protective factor—when young people feel seen and supported, they are less likely to engage in risky behaviors, including substance misuse, and are more likely to experience long-lasting positive mental and physical health outcomes. We also know that access to education, resources, and affirming care is crucial. Health and well-being are not just individual choices—they are shaped by the environments we create together.
While it is unclear how recent executive orders that seek to limit inclusivity, equity, and diversity will affect our funding, ACT will keep listening to, trusting, and showing up for Bennington’s young people—and we invite you to join us. Volunteer your time, donate resources, or advocate for youth at the local, state, and national levels.
Please consider making a pledge in support of healthy youth at actbennington.org/donate-now.
