The Bennington Youth Council is a group of young residents (ages 13–18) dedicated to making the community more welcoming, supportive, and inclusive for young people. The Council provides a forum for youth to discuss issues that affect them, develop leadership skills, and share their perspectives with town government to help inform local decisions and policies. The Youth Council is a partnership between the Town of Bennington and ACT, and made possible by the Vermont Community Foundation’s Opportunity for Southshire Youth Grant.
