ACT welcomes its new Program Director, Dare Meunier. Dare lives in Shaftsbury with her motley crew of companion animals.
What interested you in the Director’s position?
Living and working in Bennington County– I learned about the strengths of the region and the challenges facing youth and families. I enjoyed serving as an ACT coalition member, but I wanted to do more. When the opportunity arose to take a more active role in the organization, I felt inspired to take it!
What do you love about the Bennington area?
Its dedicated community members! There is amazing work happening here every day for the wellness of our citizens. Oh, and I can’t forget the art, music, and great coffee!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my nephew and fur-babies (some pictured below), crafting, and watching sci fi (The Truth is Out There!)
